New Zealand/United States - Exchange Rate Graphs The exchange rate has
steadily increased since the year 2000 and it had its highest peak in history in 2007
when it reached 0.81. We need the exchange rate to return to where
it was when we started our deputation, around 0.60. The difference
between 0.60 and 0.80 is about $1,000 per month on our budget.
As missionaries, we do our best to help each
other out with meetings and conferences. I have received many
recommendations and much support from one missionary in particular.
This missionary has a unique ministry reaching the Spanish-speaking
population in the USA. Please pray for the Duey Whitfield family and
consider them for a meeting and for support. You can read about his

MTT Ministries is a tremendous ministry offering those called into the ministry the opportunity to travel to a mission field and labor as the Lord has called them. This ministry is not your typical mission team ministry that tours the world for the sake of touring. I can personally vouch that we labored from sun up 'til sun down. The Lord used MTT to get me into New Zealand for the first time. Having never traveled outside of the USA besides in the military, I was unsure of many issues with passports, travel, culture, finances, etc. that MTT assisted with. Before traveling, MTT laid everything out from how to write a letter to request support for the trip to training on the specific mission field we traveled to. The knowledge and experienced I gained was a great asset to our transitioning to full time deputation. I highly recommend MTT Ministries to both High School seniors and college students seeking the Lord's guidance to where He has called. You will certainly get your feet wet with this ministry; by the way, it rains 10 month of the year in New Zealand.
